BIM Modeler (MEP Focus)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced BIM Modeler with expertise in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) modeling to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MEP systems and a proficiency in using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software to develop accurate and detailed 3D models. Additionally, experience in architectural and structural modeling will be considered a valuable asset.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with design teams including engineers, architects, and designers to develop detailed and accurate BIM models.
- Utilize BIM software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD) to create, modify, and manage 3D models of building systems, ensuring accuracy, coordination, and adherence to project specifications.
- Incorporate design changes and updates into existing BIM models throughout various project phases.
- Integrate MEP systems within architectural and structural models to ensure accurate coordination and clash detection.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and best practices in MEP modeling and BIM workflows.
- Participate in regular coordination meetings to address clashes, conflicts, and coordination issues among various disciplines.
- Review and validate models to identify discrepancies, clashes, and constructability issues, and collaborate with the team to find solutions.
- Generate 2D drawings, schedules, and reports from the BIM models to support project documentation and communication.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, software advancements, and emerging technologies related to BIM and MEP modeling.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of three years of experience in BIM modeling, with a focus on MEP systems.
- Proficiency in using BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, etc.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems and components, as well as their interactions within building structures.
- Experience in architectural and structural modeling is a plus.
- Familiarity with clash detection and coordination processes to ensure accurate and clash-free models.
- Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and best practices related to MEP modeling.
- Ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams and effectively communicate technical information.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines and prioritize tasks.
- A portfolio showcasing past work and projects, with an emphasis on MEP modeling.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of three years’ proven experience in BIM modeling, covering architectural, structural, and MEP domains.
- Expertise in BIM software applications, including but not limited to Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
- Comprehensive understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP systems, components, and interactions within building projects.
- Strong grasp of clash detection and resolution methodologies to ensure seamless integration of all three modeling disciplines.
- Familiarity with industry codes, standards, and best practices pertinent to architectural, structural, and MEP modeling.
- Exceptional teamwork and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse project teams.
- Strong problem-solving acumen and meticulous attention to detail.
